Calorie Defenders blends together an action-platformer focused on exploration that is mixed with tower defense combat. You will explore inside the body as one of the 3 Calorie Defenders. Along this journey, you will befriend helpful fruits and veggies who will aid you to defend the Hunger from adorable candy. You can partake in this adventure solo or bring a friend along with local split-screen co-op.

GAME MODES

- Story:  This is the campaign mode that mixes exploration with tower defense missions

- Snack Attack: This is simply just the tower defense missions

CONTROLS

Note:  The demo only shows gamepad prompts in the tutorial

- Movement

WASD or arrow keys 

(gamepad) DPAD or left stick

- Jump

up arrow or w

(gamepad) A button

- Swap (weapon/traps)

space bar or middle mouse click

(gamepad) X button

- Cycle Traps

x and c or mouse scroll

(playing solo q and e work as well, but coop those are what player 2 uses)

(gamepad) left and right bumper

- Attack

z or left click 

(gamepad) right trigger

- Charge Attack

hold left shift or right click till attack charges up

(gamepad) left trigger

- Ult Attack

hold both attack and charge attack (left shit and z) or (left mouse btn and right mouse btn)

(gamepad) left and right trigger

- Lay Traps

hold z or left click and when you release the trap is set off

(gamepad) right trigger

- Cancel/Sell Traps  (must have the trap seed bag active to sell traps)

v or right click

(gamepad) B button

- Pause

escape key

(gamepad) start button 

Special Keys ( these can make you do things out of order so use at your own risk)

- F4 toggles fullscreen      
- F12 changes split screen modes in coop
- + (plus key) increases sugar cube currency
- R restarts to main menu
- T restarts a room
- G goes to the next room (this is the one where things can get wonky, but it's good to skip around if you want)
